Imperial Consulting Corporation assists teachers and tutors, parents, school systems, educational institutions, government entities, foundations, think tanks, and trade/professional organizations with a broad range of services in the fields of tutoring and literacy. These include briefings, research reports, white papers, keynote presentations, seminars, workshops, retreats, and coaching.
The services that Imperial Consulting offers today have continued to evolve over the past 36 years under the leadership of Imperial's founder, Edward E. Gordon. As Imperial Tutoring and Educational Services, it provided tutoring services to children and adults through its North Central Association accredited programs. Secondly, it offered a broad range of workforce education programs through Imperial Corporate Training and Development.
Today, Imperial Consulting Corporation is a research and consulting firm that offers services in three distinct areas: tutoring and literacy; workforce development, employment, and careers (Click here for information on workforce services); and popular history programs.
Imperial's tutoring and literacy services are based on over three decades of research focused on methods for improving student classroom achievement. Such research on best practices is featured regularly in articles written by Edward E. Gordon and his associates or articles based on interviews with them. These articles have appeared in such nationally known publications as Principal Leadership and the Bulletin of the National Association of Secondary School Principals, Education Update published by the American Society for Curriculum Development, the Phi Delta Kappan, and the Report on Literacy Programs.
